Felipe Massa Tests For Go-Kart Race In Brazil

Months after his accident in the Hungarian Grand Prix, Felipe Massa returns to the tracks in Sao Paulo, on his Kart Mini. The Formula One driver attended the go-kart track in Granja Vianna, Sao Paulo, twice last week. 

Massa used a special protector over his left eye (which was affected in the accident and underwent corrective surgeries). He slid in and out of the kart with ease, and with no complaints of pain. 

Last Saturday, Massa announced that he plans on returning to Formula 1 on the 1st of November, at the GP in Abu Dhabi, Arab Emirates. Felipe has been training at the gym twice a day and soon will begin training in the Ferrari simulator to readapt to the F-1 cockpit. 

Sources say that Ferrari is also anxious for Felipe's return. Massa will have to undergo many rigorous exams required by the FIA to start racing again.
