Deerfield Beach, Florida - Oswaldo Negri, North American importer for Kart Mini, is pleased to announce that RDD Motorsports has become the USA distributor for the product line. Based out of Deerfield Beach, Florida, RDD Motorsports hopes to continue their Florida Winter Tour success as they continue to expand in the North American karting market.
Along with purchasing a huge inventory of karts and parts to supply the growing Kart Mini customers, RDD Motorsports has begun to plan and construct one of the premiere karting facilities in North America.
“I would say that the American market is one of the toughest markets to conquer,” stated Oswaldo Negri Jr., Kart Mini importer driver of the Ford Riley # 60 in the Grand Am Rolex Sports Cars Series. “There are many different manufacturers, different price levels, different levels of technical support and I believe we at Kart Mini and RDD Motorsports have the right product at the right price to make our customers happy.”
The Kart Mini factory in Brazil is 100% committed to the U.S. karting market. Factory owner, Mario Sergio Carvalho has been traveling to the U.S. quite frequently, giving Kart Mini drivers and RDD Motorsports full technical support.
RDD Motorsports and Kart Mini dominated the Rotax Senior class at the Florida Winter Tour winning all four races they entered with team driver Felipe Guimaraes. The talented senior pilot went on to score the championship amongst the best drivers that North America has to offer. Teammate Dalton Sargeant also performed very well as he visited the podium a couple of times after only being in a race kart for nine months.
Kart Mini and RDD Motorsports will look to continue their success at this year Rotax U.S. Grand Nationals as team owner Andre Serra has put together a powerful team of drivers for this year’s event. Florida resident Gabriel Chavez will race in the Senior division while Sebastian Ordonez will compete in the Junior class. Dalton Sargeant will look to fight for the win in Rotax Mini Max while his brother Logan Sargeant will do battle in Micro Max.
“I have been working with Dalton and Logan since they started racing not too long ago,” explained Andre Serra of Kart Mini. “The progress we have made in the past six months is amazing. I put together a great team of mechanics and with the help and experience of factory owner Mario Sergio we have made great strides with our team.”
