Kart Mini Driver Dalton Gets His First Podium Finish

Nine year-old Dalton Sargeant who has been racing for only 7 months did an exceptional job in the third and fourth rounds of the Florida Winter Tour at Moroso. Along with the help of RDD Motorsport and Kart Mini, the rising talent showed amazing results.

On Saturday round three in the Florida Winter Tour , Dalton finished third in the pre-final and sixth in the finals, competing in the Mini Max class against much more experienced drivers.

On Sunday during the fourth round, Dalton gave it his all, fighting for the lead. He finished third on the pre-final and in the final Dalton was ready for a podium finish.

Running fourth, with three laps to go, Dalton made an amazing pass for third place. Fighting hard to keep his position to the checkered flag, he made it to the podium.

RDD Motorsports and Kart Mini will be, once again, supporting Dalton in the fifth and sixth rounds of the Florida Winter Tour at Ocala.

Dalton is currently seventh in points on the Mini Max class.
